Bezawit Abebe,FNP-C

Bezawit Abebe, FNP-C sees patients in Mooresville on Mondays and Thursdays and in Charlotte on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Ms. Bezawit Abebe is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and currently licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina. Bezawit received her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, graduated Magna Cum Laude in December of 2018. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Wingate University and graduated with honors. Prior to joining Faith Medical in June 2019, she has extensive experience working as a charge nurse on a Progressive Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. Bezawit is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan. She is BLS/ACLS Certified and currently taking new patients at both locations of our Practice.

“Bebe" as she is fondly called, was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She came to the United States of America at age 19 and had since worked hard to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. She is passionate about the care of her patients and is a great advocate for the vulnerable patient population we serve. Bebe believes in forging relationships with people to understand their health needs and goals. She works collaboratively with each individual to help develop a plan to achieve their best possible state of health. Bezawit is fluent in Amharic and speaks conversational French. She enjoys working out, reading, traveling, and is active at her local church.
